The assault caused the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

Two more people have been arrested related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals sustained injuries by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, two women had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.

Police arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected theft and assault near the location. He has since been released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Police were alerted at about 08:10 GMT following reports of several individuals injured by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was isolated and not considered terrorism - caused train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
